Has anyone heard of Herbalife products (they're for weight management, and improving nutrition and energy levels)?

Does anyone know if they are gluten free?

I was wondering about the herbalife protein drink mix ,(formerly HPLC Shake Mix") .
I looked all over the label of ingredients and cant find anything that has gluten , can someone tell Me what they found?

Herbalife is NOT gluten free! I am angry beacuase I bought it from someone who is aware that I am gluten intolerant. I, being trusting & a fool, did not check the label until too late! I'm kicking myself twice over because I know products like Herbalife to be money-making crap but fell for it, out of desperation & trust! It clearly states on the ingredients, that it contains oats or oat bran (highly glutenous! It also says "contains gluten" at the end of the ingredients list. I had only to do what I always do - CHECK the INGREDIENTS!

The question was whether there was gluten in herbalife, not only wheat...many comments say that some herbalife shakes are wheat free... but there's gluten in many other grains, like barley, oats, rye, spelt....
I am very sensitive to all forms of gluten, and other ingredients like yeast, and need to know exactly what's in what I eat. any trace of wheat, oats, barley, etc. or yeast, potato starch will cause very unpleasant symptoms.

The French Vanilla and Dutch Choclate have no wheat in them. I have been using them for 2 months now and feel great.

Yes..some. Instant formula 1 contains no gluten, however the regular formula 1 (shake) does contain wheat products and is denoted so on the label. Here in the USA, the FDA has labeling laws that Herbalife follows which include wheat, soy, nut, and milk allergy warnings. Canada has similar laws so check the label. If it has wheat products it will say so.
