Hello,
I was diagnosed via a biopsy with Coeliac Disease 13 years ago and am strictly gluten free except for the odd accident like eating Sakata rice crackers that were labelled gluten free only to find they weren't.
I find I'm very sensitive which is a great spur to be really careful.
While a lot beter than when I ate gluten I'm still struggling with 'wellness' and think there maybe other foods I need to eliminate.
I have an appt. with the hospital dietitian shortly as I don't feel capable to doing an elimiantion diet on my own.
I know I need to be careful with lactose but suspect that salicylates, rice, sugar maybe the culprits. Have other people had to cut out other foods after giving up gluten?
I would be grateful if you could share your experiences and advice. Thanks, Lee
