Find A Gluten Testing Gp In Hamilton?

Hi Everyone, I too went to the Gluten Free show in Auckland. I attended a seminar of Rodney Fords, it was fantastic. I have had my son who is 2 on a gluten free diet because of his bloated tummy and bad eczema and psoriasis. I have never had him tested but with the advice of a naturopath begun the dies.

At Rodney's suggestion I would now like to get the blood test done from Adam I have downloaded the blood tests required but am really struggling to get my GP to sign them. I was wondering if you knew of anybody in the Hamilton region who has a GP that understands gluten is willing to help a little boy.

I know this might be a long shot, but I have to try. Thanks for your help everyone

Hi Sally-Anne,

Kirshni Appanna at 5x Roads medical centre is very thorough and may be able to help you, I'm sure she would be willing to investigate further with your son. It may be differcult to get accurate results tho with him having been gluten free for so long. He may have to eat gluten for a short time before having the tests done, but I'm not 100% sure about that, in my experience tho that is what had to happen. I hope you are able to find someone to help you with this.
