If I am having a bbq and two of the people have gluten free needs, can i still serve hamburgers/cheeseburgers and french fries or green beans?

Hi Joel,
Here are a few guidelines for a gluten free BBQ.
Make sure your hamburger patties do not contain wheat or breadcrumbs at a thickening agent (if you make them from scratch this is generally a safe bet (you can use corn flour or rice instead).
The bun you serve them in will need to be gluten free for the gluten free people.
If the cheese is processed check it for wheat, if its fresh - try and avoid pre grated as sometimes gluten is used in the agent that stops each grated piece from sticking together.
Green beans should be fine.
Avoid dressings which contain malt vinegar or gluten.
French fried should be okay as long as they are not battered... I like ot make my own and coat them in a little oil so I know that they have no wheat (some can have wheat in their coating (check the pack).
Do not cook wheat buns on the same grill as gluten free ones as cross contamination can be an issue for hyper sensitive people.
I hope this helps.
