The gluten free kiwi has found herself a new lunch spot!!! I am not entirely sure how I have missed going to this place before.

They offer gluten free bread for there sandwich (which they toasted in special paper to avoid cross contamination - they also wiped down the bench and knives before they made my sandwich and uses baking paper to keep the sandwich from touching the bench.

I was VERY IMPRESSED!!!

I ordered the Brooklyn Beef Short Rib

Beef Shortrib braised all day served with tomato relish, smoked hickory sauce and cheddar cheese.

And Added Jalepenos, Lettuce, Cucumber, Red Onion and gluten free bread

They toasted the gluten free bread loaded it up with heaps of tasty fillings. I am glad I was wearing my "stretchy pants" as this sandwich was so big I was full to the brim.

There is just something about a warm gourmet sandwich on a cold day! There is a great selection and I like that there is a place in Christchurch that is finally doing gluten free bread right.

Great stuff New York Deli... you will be seeing me again ;)
