Gluten Free Dessert Christchurch

A friend and I ventured out for dessert the other evening, and decided to book into Strawberry Fare. Seeing as the desserts here are always rich and indulgent we decided to split a main meal and then get into dessert.

The menu here is great, everything is labeled clearly as gluten or dairy free, and the staff are very knowledgeable when it comes to service.

For our meal we had the corn fritters with salad and feta which were divine and nice for a light meal.

Then it was on to the dinner menu... I love having options when I go out for a meal so being able to pick 3 or 4 dessert options was too good to be true.

I opted for the lemon coconut roll which arrived with toffee decoration sitting out of it, a fruity sauce, and filled with lemon cream.

Now I am a little dairy sensitive so probably should have gone with the Gluten and dairy free option... but this was divine and good for a treat. My gluten eating friend also found heaps of things on the menu that she liked the sound of.

All in all I was really pleased with Strawberry Fare and will definitely return there.
