Which gluten free/dairy free cookbook would you recommend that is the best for use in New Zealand (easy to obtain ingredients) for a newbie to Gluten free.

I have 8 different books and think the Australian Women's Weekly one is the best for eating within NZ. Another good author from Aus is Lola Workman - she has some fun recipes as well as everyday cooking - her pastry is brilliant! The only thing to remember is that an Australian tablespoon is 20ml, not 15ml.

My English one is also a favourite, however there are quite a few ingredients not easily sourced here and I often adapt the recipes.

You will find some good Gluten Free Dairy Free Cookbooks on this website if you do a search.

I have also tried paleolithic eating from this cook bookwhich takes a more natural approach to eating and returning to basics (fresh pure ingredients)
