Tasty Gluten Free Meatballs... My Own Special Recipe! :)
This is one of those recipes I made up as I went along... and boy was it a good idea to wing it, the following recipe is for my Lamb Spaghetti and Meat Balls With Chili Garlic And Toma toe Sauce.
Ingredients
Meat Balls
400gram Lamb Mince 1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic 1 Teaspoon of Minced Chili 1 Egg (beaten) 1 Tablespoon Bbq Sauce 1/2 Teaspoon Fresh Basil 1 Diced Onion 1 Table Spoon of Oil Dash of Red Wine (optional) 1 tablespoon of Tomatoe Paste 1/2 Cup Water (or Gluten free Stock)
Other Ingredients
1/2 Pack Gluten Free Spaghetti (Rice Spaghetti) 1 Jar of tomato Based Gluten Free Pasta Sauce 2 handfuls Spinach Salt and pepper
Combine Mince, Garlic, Chili, BBQ Sauce, Basil, Onion, and a beaten egg. Make Into gluten Free Meatballs
Smaller Sized Meatballs. In a Hot Wok Place the oil in a Fry Pan, sear the outside of the meatballs until almost cooked, then place into the sauce, add spinach, place in on lid, cook for 30 mins, until cooked. (This dish goes great if you add a little red wine).
Cook the pasta to the instructions on the packet. Drain and Serve in a bowl, with spoonfuls or meatball and sauce over the top, garnish with black pepper and salt.
I like to drink mine with a nice glass or Merlot, or Pinot Noir Bon Appetite!
