I was facinated when I read about the effect gluten has had on your body. It was like reading my own medical history. The sinus infections, stiff and sore joints, particularly my feet and the stomach upsets etc. Last school holidays I ended up in hospital with undiagnosed stomach pains. When I went home I checked my symptoms on the net. Gluten intolerance came up. I tested negative to cealiacs 2 years ago, but am certain I have gluten syndrome. I have been off gluten for 2 months now and cannot believe the difference it has made to my life. I don't mind having to go without some foods, knowing now that they were poisoning my body. My medication has been lowered and my rheumatologist has said I can go off steroids which I have been on for the past 8 years. My husband is so impressed with the difference he has seen in me and is considering going gluten free himself. I am loosing weight now with very little effort and work colleagues are commenting on how happy I am and how good my skin is looking. I would say to anyone who has health concerns to go gluten free for even a week. If you are gluten intolerent you will know in that short amount of time.

Wow I am quite amazed that a gluten free diet can help with arthritis! Also it is very interesting about the sinus problems... As for doctors not really getting the gluten thing I know what you mean! It is a real shame that they don't open their minds up to such things as it could make a difference in many of their patients health.
