Find a Great Meal In Gluten Free Oamaru

While wandering around Oamaru with my father, I turned up my nose, thinking Oamaru and its old buildings would most likely be behind when it comes to gluten free cuisine... but boy was I wrong.

Oamaru seems to be a mecca for quality gluten free food! My 3 favorite finds:

Latitude 45 - Ribble St, Oamaru

Use gluten free bread and do some great gluten free soups, i dined here several times. And it was great to have flexibility and taste within gluten free options on a menu.

The Woolstore Cafe -

Can change their meal to almost any gluten free order. They have a wide selection of main courses. I had a good talk to the owner and she too has problems with wheat. She then proceeded to point out to me all the decadent amazing gluten free cakes and their kitchen route's for Gluten Free Customers. Fantastic! I recommend the Orange, or Chocolate cake.
