I recently holidayed in California, now like most of America, Gluten free is not really prevalent, but after a few days of living there I soon sorted out the eats and avoids at the local store and shops.
One thing I noticed when in San Fransisco, Nappa and Sonoma, they sure love all there Tuscan and Italian style foods... to match with there wines!... Which was not so great for me the gluten free kiwi!
So i chose to relax on the vineyard with a wine and fresh fruit salad, and for afternoon tea I purchased some corn chips and a gluten free bar from a local store.
Being stuck on a bus, or away from the shops does not have to be a worry, if you plan ahead, and take snacks, gluten free travel can be alot of fun!
