Energy from a chocolate bar will not last as long as something
nutritious like seeds and nuts.

Just because you recognize a brand, doesn't mean the ingredients are
the same to those you are use to, they vary from country to country, as
do the restrictions on labellings food, so be weary and always check.
It also pays to check up on what the food labellings regulations are
like in that country.

Bringing
your own gluten free
food, be sure to always check the customs list of ok foods, and make
sure its still sealed in the manufacturers original packaging.

sure to keep up your
supplements while you are away, even if you are careful, they will help
if gluten sneaks its way into your meal .

you are hospitalized, MAKE

any medicines or vitamin supplements are gluten free.

gluten free dried soup and snacks.

could keep plastic cutlery in your bag)

traveling, pop the snacks in a cool box or bag and they will keep
fresh for several days.
