Oh gosh, that came out wrong, and confusing -- the wafers are rice. They are gluten, milk, and egg free.

Our church provides communion wafers that are rice, gluten, milk and egg free -- available online through Cokesbury.com -- store them in a refrigerator at church so they'll last even longer and stay fresh for months.

Flat bread for the Lord's Supper NEW
by: Laurie

It does matter. It's not safe to eat any gluten, no matter how small. A much safer and tasty alternative is offered by Le Garden Bakery. We operate a dedicated facility and offer flat bread - perfect for that occassion. Please give us a call @ 607-533-9102 and request flat bread for communion and we would be happy to help. Our artisan breads are wheat, gluten, dairy, nut, soy and corn free.-

Hi, I'm not sure what Church you're at so don't know the wafer's ingredients. However you may want to check because I've heard that some Lord's supper wafers are gluten free [?!]
I just bring a piece of gluten free bread or rice cracker with me to Church. Almost everyone knows that I'm GF so it's ok.
:)
I hope you figure it out soon, it's annoying though ay?!
