Is Corona Gluten Free? Gluten Free Baked Beans

OK i know this might be weird, but corona extra is actually made from maize. its brewed in mexico where wheat isn't actually grown. I have had it a few times and iv reacted to all other beer except it, so i cant say for sure but people that are not celiac i think you can drink corona extra.

Also backed beans. iv been checking out there cheaper stuff, and found that oaks beans use full maize as both thickener and everything else. where watties doesn't they use wheat. oaks is the cheapest brand , but beans are beans.

Hey Nick - You need to be careful about making claims about gluten free status of products - thanks for adding your recommendations - but corona is still fermented with barley - so there for contains gluten.

You will probably find it is a low gluten beer - rather then gluten free, I know people who can drink certain brands (in moderation) with little effects.

I tested your theory the other night and had a corona - and while it did not upset my tummy, I found my glads were swollen the next morning and I was a little itchy and cloudy in the brain.

So for everyone else- corona is not gluten free... but Beans Are :)
