Hi Heather,

There is no hard and fast rule. The gluten free state of the wine is dependent on which country the wine is form and the type of wine making process they use.

There can be some cross contamination with wines if they are sealed into the barrels with a flour/water paste(common with European Union barrel manufacturers).

The other thing to watch out for if you are an allergic person is sulfites in wine - as these can also cause allergies
