Ive had a great time with this, Born in 1970 in whakatane hospital it didnt take long before I was a sick wee man , in and out(hospital) for a couple of years then transferred to tauranga for more investigations etc.

Was diagnosed with cd and carried on my life on the gluten free diet ,special meals at camp , school ,all the time .At 10 or 11 I under went progress tests and was told to go on as usual eat everything the cd were just systems of cd, cool I thought and it was being able to eat a pie a real pie ,not one of mums home made super crusty types ,(yuk). nearly thirty years on and my body aches , stomachs always bit uurggh and generally not in good spirits . thought I was just getting old. Have since opened up a can of worms while investigating these aches and pains and coeliacs is the flavour of the month again . nice to know that the docs are far more aware of the damages cd can do to your body undetected and left. So still going through the last of the tests etc and hoping to get my life back to good health again albeit on the gluten free diet . I always suspected it was there but battled on , good to have some answers after putting up with so much for so long .
