I know!!!! being diabetic as well is a pain in the ****. by: Leah
I am in the same boat, I am 35 and was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1 when I was 13, I was told after biopsy that I also have coeliacs as well. I find it hard as there is a lot of cakes, slices, etc that are readily available in shops and supermarkets and not so much savoury products that taste alright. As being diabetic you can not eat very much sweet food, and you need to be extra carefull having food handy on you at all times.
I do not like a lot of the gluten free bread (alright some when toasted) so I have been taking Maggi creme of chicken soup (GF) to work as it is in a sachet and is only about $1.50 which works out a lot cheaper thsn what else there is on the market. I also take yoghurt, fruit etc. I am trying to make more at tea time and take left overs and re-heat as it is nice to eat something warm at lunch, since it's winter and all, LOL.
"What is Bio Revive GlutenTest?" It is an at home finger
prick test for gluten intolerance that takes only 5 minutes to give
results. It is associated with IgA Auto-Antibodies from a fingertip
blood sample. It is easy to read as it will give either a positive or a
negative result.
