Shampoo?
by: Anonymous

I don't experience those symptoms, but I know of fellow coeliacs who do. One girl had a rash for ages but when she changed her shampoo it went away. Turns out her old shampoo had wheat in it. So, perhaps you're still getting gluten through your soaps/skin products?
It's so annoying ay!? I often stand in the smellies isle, reading the back of each shampoo bottle like a real nerd. Garnier and VO5 are usually gluten-free. Check for hydrolyzed wheat protein in products, even natural ones because products like Aveeno usually use wheat or oats.
Hope that helps! :)
