4 pound plums
2 pound white sugar
3 onions finely chopped
Pinch Salt n Pepper
1 pint (500ml) Malt Vinegar
1/2 Tsp All Spice
1/2 Tsp Cloves
Put all ingredients in pot and boil til plums are pulp, sieve out stones, this takes about 2 hours, thicken with cornflour, Edmonds Fielders cornflour is gluten free if needed. Bottle while Hot Makes about 6 250ml bottles. Yummy on silverside or on crackers with cheese.
