What are some of the side effect eating gluten free flours?

Do gluten free flours cause constipation? I have experienced this issue since eating bread baked with various gluten free flours. What flour(s) would be the culprit?

Most gluten free flours are pretty much pure starch and turn out to be really stodgy in your gut! I know, I've felt the effects too!
If you can get your hands on some sorghum, amaranth and quinoa flours which have got heaps more nutrients than the more common flours, you could use them to supplement your normal flour mix.
I also get constipated when I eat lots of baked gluten free things. The only way I've discovered to combat it, [and eat a healthy diet, which is really important!] is to change the way I eat, saving baked things for special occasions. Don't eat gluten free bread for lunch and breakfast every day, try eating things like quiche, instant rice, lentils, curry, vegetables... etc.

Hello there, it might not be the flour causing the problem, do you use gluten products in with your flour mix. even products labelled ''Low Gluten'' are poisoness to coeliac people, people with gluten intolerant maybe they can eat foods containing low gluten. hope you find the problem.
